this is a pyramid scheme. Not necessarily a “you’ll be left living in a box” type of scheme, but simply one where your efforts to turn a profit will never be justified by the return. i’m currently shooting for a short film on the topic. these people are preying on our ignorance of what’s already available. namely that banks like Bank of America and search engines like Bing already offer cash back incentives for online shopping.
the hook here is that u can make money through friend referrals. but how much can u really make when most people still go in-store for the most expensive items (appliances, TVs, etc)? plus look at the percentage Blastoff offers: 1% here, 7% there….u’re gonna get a fraction of THAT off your friends? not worth the time or effort it will take to make a significant return in my opinion.
And all this is brought to you by the great people at Prepaid Legal…
So please, don’t invite me to BlastOff. If all of your (other) friends are ballers and drop twenty dollar bills every time they cough, maybe you’ll make a dollar a month. But count me out.
